Reach Versilia to assist to one of the events more magical of our territory, the creation of sawdust carpets.
The village of Camaiore, that it gives hospitality to this tradition from far 400, it paints of thousand colors with an artistic spectacle dedicated to the rite of Corpus Domini. In the night that it precedes the religious ceremony, the city comes alive thanks to the work of upholsterers, artisans and professional artists of sawdust carpets. Together united for one night by passion for this extraordinary art, old and young with some bags, sieves and looms reach the hystoric centre to give a wonderful show to someone passes for the main streets of the city. The artworks made by coloured sawdust are created to rest for only the next morning, lied from a religious and different theme every year. The next morning, they will be step on by passage of procession of Corpus Domini.
